INFORMATION ACCESS TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Since 2002, DIRF is holding many information access education and training programmes to a large mass of people including students, disable people, under privileged people, women, library and information community, professionals and others. DIRF is committed to play a significant role in promoting the use of information and communication technology to enhance the learner's role and capacity in social and policy advocacy, and technology.
DIRF has offered parallel instructional tracks and training programmes on Web-based Information Management, Using ICT for Advocacy and Managing information, information portal creation etc. DIRF collaborates with many organizations to do the training programme.
The researchers in DIRF have been working on web content management for years and specilaised on web skills. They have proved that effective web information consumption paves the way for the progress of society. DIRF's training programmes in the recent past addressed the information needs of specialized group of the society such as school students, women, disabled people and other under privileged sections of India.
